Tea Party in the Woods

All you wild and curious ones – join the library and special guest Sara Ernst for a tea party in the woods! We’ll have music, stories, and activities. You are more than welcome to dress up for a fun, whimsical party together!
Ages: 0-10 and their families
Fees: Free!

Meet us at the tents at Long Mountain Park for the tea party & there will be stations on the trail to go along with Sara Ernst’s song, “Tea Party in the Woods” (we recommend adding this fun song to your playlist!), we can’t wait to see you there! Be prepared to walk a half mile on the trail.

🐻 “Bears will bring some food- Blue berry pie” Create a berry pie craft to take home

🦉 “Owls will bring some food- Field mouse stew” Play in the dirt/mud while playing pretend kitchen (get as messy as you’d like or skip this station if messy isn’t your jam!)

🐿️ “Squirrels will bring some food- Acorn cake” Mix salt dough and make acorn prints in it

🐸 “Toads will bring some food- Flies and rice” Play in a sensory bin of flies and rice

☕ “At least we’ll have our friends and share some tea” Enjoy a cup of tea and a cookie under the tents
