Campbell County Public Library System, VA

Trash Art Gallery

Keep plastics out of the ocean, save your trash, and turn it into art!

Art pieces should be 3-D, under-the-sea animals made using only recycled or repurposed materials. All reused materials should be cleaned out completely prior to artwork being dropped off at the library. Artwork can be dropped off at any CCPLS location by 7/14 along with your name. Artwork will be displayed as part of an exhibit in the Rustburg Library during the Grand Finale Street Fair on 7/30. All ages are invited to participate!

Examples of marine trash art:

  • Grocery bag jelly fish
  • Cardboard box whale
  • Water bottle fish
  • Bubble wrap sea lion
