Tortoise and Hare Scavenger Hunt – Altavista

A town-wide scavenger hunt/race for all ages! Join us on Thursday, July 11, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. for the Tortoise and Hare Scavenger Hunt and participate as a family or with friends. Bring your device and submit checkpoints through social media. Will your team be the tortoise or the hare? Hares will compete for speed and accuracy. Tortoises are just here for a good time!
No registration is required. Just check in at the library by 4 p.m. to start. Geared toward kids/teens.
Be prepared to be outside for 1 – 2 hours and walk approximately 2.5 miles. Water and sunscreen are strongly recommended. This event is weather permitting.
