The Roots Club, a local history genealogy group, has invited Katrice Luck-Brimmer to discuss how her genealogical expertise assisted Air Force veteran Fredrick Miller and his family to discover their ancestral connection to the Sharswood Plantation, located in Pittsylvania County, Virginia. The family’s story aired on the newsmagazine 60 Minutes. The Roots Club program will be held at Rustburg Library on Thursday, November 17, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
