Managing Someone Else’s Money – Altavista
500 Washington Street
Altavista
VA 24517
A free program for adults called “Managing Someone Else’s Money” will be held at our Altavista location on Thursday, April 11, 12 – 1 p.m. A representative from the Better Business Bureau serving Western Virginia will discuss the roles of caregivers making financial decisions for others. If you find yourself in this role or want to plan ahead in case you need help in the future, join us to learn about the legality surrounding these responsibilities, the role of fiduciary, and how to avoid financial exploitation and abuse. For more information, contact Tywanna Whorley at 434-313-3106 or tmwhorley@co.campbell.va.us.
