A free Drive-Thru Back-To-School Supply Event will be held on Saturday, Aug. 22, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (earlier if supplies run out), at Staunton River Memorial Library, 500 Washington Street, Altavista. It is sponsored by the Friends of the Staunton River Library.

School supplies for students K-12 will be available. Supplies will include paper, pens, pencils, crayons, glue sticks, and composition books.

Come to the parking lot outside the library’s side door.
