Keep Broad Street, Altavista clean. The library has adopted the street in front of the Staunton River Memorial Library (SRML), which means that we will help keep it litter-free. Once every season, we invite you to our Adopt-A-Street day to help! The next one is on Tuesday, December 17, 4 – 5 p.m.
Stop by SRML first. We have all the supplies needed: bags, gloves, vests, and grabbers. This is an outdoor event and will be weather permitting. All ages are welcome, and a guardian must be present for ages 17 and under.
