CCPLS Storytimes

Babygarten* | Ages 0-24 months

These storytimes involve toys, songs, rhymes, and activities that help babies with language acquisition and pre-literacy skills. This is a great opportunity to socialize and have fun together! This program is for ages 0-24 months and their caregivers. Registration through *CivicRec for each session will open about a month before the start date.

Fall Session I:

  • August 19 – September 9 (No session on Sept. 2 – Happy Labor Day!)
• Tuesdays | Timbrook Library | 10:00 – 10:45 AM
  • August 20 – September 10
• Wednesdays | Timbrook Library | 10:00 – 10:45 AM
  • August 21 – September 11
• Wednesdays | Staunton River Memorial Library – Altavista | 10:00 – 10:45 AM
  • August 21 – September 11
• Thursdays | Patrick Henry Memorial Library – Brookneal | 12:30 – 1:15 PM
  • August 22 – September 12

Tot Time * | Ages 2-3

These storytimes involve board books, songs, and rhymes that help toddlers with language acquisition and pre-literacy skills. This is a great opportunity to read, play, and have fun together! Registration through *CivicRec for each session will open about a month before the start date. Ages: 2-3 and their caregivers
