Are you ready to unearth the past like a real archaeologist? CCPLS is partnering with Red Hill’s Archaeology Team to explore a real dig site! This event will be on Friday, July 10, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Patrick Henry’s Red Hill. Located at 1250 Red Hill Road, Brookneal.

All ages are welcome to join us. We’ll have a station for our younger friends to dig for “artifacts” and play in some sand. Our older friends are welcome to head to the archaeological work stations to learn more about how to shovel, scrape, and sift dirt from an active dig site. Previously found artifacts will be showcased. We welcome you to bring your own gloves for this fun day for all!
