Everbright Light Wall Fundraiser

Help Fizz, Boom, and the CCPLS Foundation bring this creative and engaging Everbright light wall to the Rustburg Library!

Choose from five different levels of support:

Level 1

A $16 donation gets you a copy of the exclusive new Fizz and Boom book, “Just Kidding.”  Warning: Fizz and Boom wrote this book themselves, so expect maximum silliness!

Level 2

A $42 donation gets you a copy of the book and an invitation for a family of four to the Fizz and Boom book release party. Count on shenanigans. There will be silly string. Date: TBD.

Level 2 add on

For those of you with lots of loved ones, an extra $6 donation per person gets extra family members into the party.

Level 3

A $125 donation gets you everything in Level 2 and a sponsorship ad in the Fizz and Boom book (1000 will be printed). Update – The book has been printed, so this level is no longer available.

Level 4

A $300 donation gets you everything in Level 3 and a sponsored, boosted Facebook post on the library’s page telling the world that you are a library supporter superstar and an altogether amazing human being.

Level 5

A $1200 donation gets you everything in Level 4 plus your name on a plaque beside the Everbright. And, you’ll have that warm, fuzzy feeling knowing YOU will be making children smile.

Please use the Paypal link to donate, and choose your giving level from the dropdown menu. If you’d prefer to donate by cash or check, stop by your favorite library branch to do so. Don’t forget to leave your name and contact information, so we can make sure you get your perks! Please note: we cannot take in person credit card payments. If a credit card is your preferred method, please use the Paypal link.  A Paypal account is not required.

Who are Fizz and Boom? They are characters that CCPLS team members, Ms. Katie and Ms. Valinda, created for Summer Reading in 2015. Children fell in love with Fizz who always follows the rules and the ever mischievous Boom. They performed in shows and hosted hands-on science themed activities all summer. It was a blast! They are back for 2020-2021 to bring a love of literacy to children and to assist the Foundation in this fundraising endeavor.

What if I want to give a donation of a different amount? Go for it. We appreciate all contributions! Perks will be awarded at achieved level. Example: A $20 surpasses Level 1 but does not hit Level 2. So, perks will be awarded at Level 1.

I still don’t understand… what exactly is an Everbright? No worries. Later this summer, we will have a demo piece at our Rustburg location, so you can have a firsthand look at this cool new technology.

My question is not on this list. Who do I ask? Jordan Welborn, Library Director: or 434-332-9657.
