Summer Reading “Blast” Off: School House Rock Live!

This year’s Summer Reading Program officially starts with the Roanoke Children’s Theatre returning to perform a new show – “School House Rock Live!” at Timbrook Library at 11 a.m.

The show is based on the book by Scott Ferguson, George Keating, and Kyle Hall. The performance is free.

Preregistration has been filled. But there will be a minimum of 30 walk-in spaces available, and there will be activities outside the library, including Gus the Bus.

Feel free to bring a picnic and eat lunch outside after the show. Don’t want to pack a lunch? Food trucks will be in our parking lot for optional eating opportunities.
