Outdoor Book + Art – Timbrook

Join CCPLS for an extra-special book + art event this fall! We are partnering with the Daura Museum of Art to bring you a unique, outdoor art experience for kids, families, and teens.

Start by listening to a read-aloud story, then create Blind Contour drawings with your group. Blind Contour can be a magical and wonderful way to practice mindfulness and build drawing skills.

Friends from the Daura Museum of Art will help us with a playful activity for elementary-aged students, and teens will be guided to create more advanced drawings. Caregivers are encouraged to participate, too!

Groups must pre-register online for a 30-minute time slot. You can register using the link at campbellcountylibraries.org/bookart.

This is an outdoor event and will be weather permitting.
