Enchanted Trail: Timothy the Turtle – Timbrook
Follow Timothy the traveling Timbrook turtle as he delivers books to all of his forest friends and “runs” into adventure along the way.
Every month, a small trail in the woods behind Timbrook Library is transformed with decorations and a story. Families are given a scavenger hunt to enjoy as they walk the trail and read the story together. There is a new theme every month, and each one incorporates Virginia SOLs. After the trail, all are welcome to check out books at our Pop-Up Library. This event is geared towards pre-school and elementary students, and the whole family is welcome. Registration will be available through Eventbrite about two weeks prior to the event date.
This event is free, but pre-registration is required through Eventbrite. Please select one time slot for your family or group. Be sure to dress appropriately to be outside for about half an hour, and sensible shoes are a must. Note this is a completely outdoor event, and the trail is not stroller friendly.
Please arrive promptly for your time slot. In order to give each group their own space, we cannot guarantee your group will be able to walk the trail if you arrive late. This is an outdoor event and will be weather permitting.
