Book + Art is a mini outdoor event, personalized for families to enjoy themed art projects. Elementary-aged patrons will listen to a read-a-loud story and do themed art projects. Middle and high school students will do art projects inspired by book illustrations. All Book + Art events will be the same at each branch.

Locations, dates, and times:

Timbrook: Monday, April 5, 12 – 4 p.m.
Patrick Henry (Brookneal): Wednesday, April 7, 1 – 3:30 p.m.
Staunton River (Altavista): Thursday, April 8, 12 – 6 p.m.
Rustburg: Friday, April 9, 1 – 5 p.m.

Join us April 5 – 9 for other Spring Break Art events! Daily scheduled events require pre-registration through Eventbrite within two weeks of the event, and details to register can be found at this link on our website. We will also have art kits for pick up and a digital exhibit all week.
