How to win prizes for reading, attending events, and more

This year, there is no formal registration process. Reading logs are available beginning June 1. Reading program begins June 15 and ends July 27. Prizes may be redeemed beginning June 15.

  • Children ages 4-10, stop by any CCPL location to pick up your reading log.
    • For every 100 minutes read (up to 500), children will earn a prize that they may choose from the prize store.
    • There are additional prizes in the form of vouchers, like free ice cream….yummm!
    • Each time a child completes 100 minutes, he or she will be able to write their name on the “Reading Wall of Fame”!
    • Once a child completes the 500 minute level, they may choose one of their favorite books, and we will add a book plate with their name inside the book. This step requires some processing time. Once the book has been chosen, we’ll do our part, and then let you know so children can come and “visit” their book.
    • After the 500 minute level, for every additional 100 minutes read, children will earn bonus tickets that enter them to win even more prizes. There is no limit to the amount of bonus tickets that can be earned.
    • We have LOTS of bonus prizes this year!
  • Anyone (including adults!) 11 and up, can stop by any CCPL location to pick up a weekly entry form.
    • There will be prizes awarded weekly June 15- July 27. You may enter once each week.
    • There are separate prizes for ages 11-17 and 18 and up.
    • You can participate by reading a book, attending one of our events, or interacting with us on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter.

We would like to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to all of our AMAZING sponsors.  You make it happen!!
